Donald Price Medium Security Facility PLEASE NOTE: THIS FACILITY IS CURRENTLY CLOSED AND NO LONGER HOUSES INMATES The Donald Price Facility was constructed in 1929 and opened in 1932. This facility was originally designed and first used to house youthful offenders. The facility closed in 2011 per mandate of the General Assembly in light of the state's fiscal situation. Inmates were moved to other facilities (primarily to the John J. Moran Medium Security Facility).
