COVID-19 Endemic Information RIDOC has been proactive in its mitigation efforts and response planning for COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, as the health and safety of the people who live and work within the Department is our priority. May 11, 2023 marked the end of the Federal COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Declaration; therefore, COVID-19 will be considered an endemic. In response, RIDOC has updated the way in which its COVID-19 data is disseminated. Data put out during the pandemic is still be available, but has been placed in archive, and future COVID-19 data will be exclusively available upon request. If you would like to request RIDOC COVID-19 data, please complete an Access to Public Records Act (APRA) request. Research requests utilizing RIDOC COVID-19 data should be made through RIDOC's Planning & Research Unit by submitting a Research Request.
